Maksym Stasiuk
Painter, Illustrator, Visual Artist
I am Maksym Stasiuk, a painter and illustrator based in Lviv, Ukraine.
I graduated from art school and have been working professionally in illustration and fine art for over 20 years. My creative process is rooted in deep observation and emotional resonance — I’m drawn to moments of stillness, contrasts of color, and the quiet stories behind everyday beauty. Through my work, I seek not just to depict, but to evoke — to let the viewer feel something honest, even in the most abstract forms.

Artist Statement
I create paintings that explore the intersection between order and intuition, the visible and the unseen. Whether through myth-inspired labyrinths, abstract geometry, or meditative landscapes, my work reflects a search for clarity within complexity. I am drawn to symbolic spaces — gates, shadows, fruits, codes — as metaphors for the human condition: always evolving, remembering, longing.
Each artwork is a constructed moment of stillness, where color becomes a form of thought and composition becomes a silent rhythm. I aim to make the viewer pause — not to decode, but to feel. I don't seek to impose meaning, only to open a space where it might emerge.
